Chapter Four:
Kyo stood rooted to the ground, ready to strike anytime. The cave was in pitch darkness and all he could rely on was his hearing and instinct. “Come out, Yagami!” Kyo turned round and round, hoping to locate where Iori was. Then, Iori appeared in front of him and then, he felt a split second of pain at his chest.
Iori had struck. Kyo tried to counter but Iori was too fast and did yet another quick punch onto his face, before canceling to a Deadly Flower move. Kyo was knocked to the ground, as he tried to get up, he saw purple flames moving towards him. He dodged to safety and performed his 114 Shiki Ara Kami on Iori before switching to his 128 Shiki Kono Kizu. Iori blocked all of Kyo’s attacks and then jumped towards Kyo in rage. He used both hands to slam down on Kyo but Kyo had anticipated this and performed his 100 Shiki Oniyaki, catching Iori by surprise.
Iori received a 3 hit combo and fell to the ground near Kyo. He touched his lip and felt blood on it. He looked at Kyo and smirked and dashed at Kyo in full speed. Kyo was taken by surprise at Iori’s sudden quick pace and before he knew it, he was hit by Iori's Ge Shiki Yumebiki move. Kyo was stunned but soon realised that Iori had cancelled the move into his S1001 Style Maiden Masher move! Kyo dodged in time and as he turned around to counter, Iori had swept him to the another side of him and slashed him on the chest. Kyo felt the excruciating pain, but the thought of her made him boost up.
The thought of Yuki and her words she spoke before the battle with the Orochi, “ I will be waiting for you, Kyo,” made Kyo burst with power. Summoning his flames again, Kyo striked the pose, ready for his No Style SDM. “Anger, hatred, vengeance, summon my… FINAL SHODOWN!!!!” Before Kyo could strike, he heard the voice of a woman. The familiar voice stopped both of them. They turned and there she was, no doubt, Kagara Chizuru.
