Kyo and Iori stared at each other, confused. Iori then made a hysterical laugh
that went down Chizuru’s spine. Kyo did not like this either. “The battle
shall continue after the mission is completed.” Iori said, grinning at Kyo,
before he walked off. Kyo watched as Iori left and clenched his fists. Kyo
looked at Chizuru and nodded before he left the battlegrounds. Chizuru smiled
with confidence. This was a sure win battle. He prayed a fast and safe victory,
and that the feuds would end.

Yuki felt a
terrible headache, but she did not know what happened. The images in front of
her blurred and she could not think straight. She screamed as she held her
thumping head. She felt as if it may explode anytime now. She tried to think of
Kyo, the antidote to everything, she just could not. It was not long before she
finally passed out…
Shingo rushed to
her room to see what was happening, and was shocked to see the room empty.
Apparently, the heavily sick Yuki could not have got out of bed alone. He sensed
that she was kidnapped, but he was clueless about the culprit. He kneeled down
on the ground and elt a moment of guilt. He had let Kusanagi- san down. Benimaru
saw what happened and stared at the bed, wide- eyed.

The stadium
roared as the crowd cheered their favourite fighters. A voice from the speakers
announced the teams and the fighters. Next, the new rules to the competition
were announced. This year, the striker rules have been modified. Any fighter on
standby could act as strikers, which meant that a fighter could have two
different strikers during his fight. The matches are one to one versus fighting
and 20 minutes would be allocated in each fight. The fighter who is knocked out
first, or the fighter with the lesser endurance would lose at time out. The
match schedules are as followed:
Kim Team Versus Kyokugenryu Team
Special
Team Versus Japan Team
Psycho
Soldier Team Versus Fatal Fury Team
Ikari
Team Versus Female Fighting Team
Match
one, Kim Tam versus Kyokugenryu Team
The
team line- ups are as follows
Kim Robert
Dong Hwan Yuri
Jae
Hoon Ryo
Kim looked on as Robert prepared for battle. His wife was among the crowd cheering. He was tired in all the fighting, but he did not want to lose this one. He had improved, no doubt, but Robert too had a drastic improvement. Robert knew Kim was tired, but did not wish that Kim would just let him win. He gave Kim a friendly gesture before charging at Kim. Kim remained motionless, even though Robert was charging at him. Robert did his Hien Shi Pu Kyaku at Kim in extreme speed. With a swift move, Kim jumped over Robert and kicked him from behind and then on the leg, creating a two hit chain before performing his Crescent Slice move, hitting Robert to the ground. Kim’s sons looked on in excitement, their dad was great! Now, they would be fighting in his team.
Robert was taken aback but he had a quick recovery. He swept Kim off the ground with a fast roundhouse kick. Kim was suspended in mid air and Yuri came on as a striker and performed a Haoh Shokoken towards Kim. Dong Hwan come out to block his father from the fireball and then kicked towards Robert immediately. By then, Kim had recovered and charged towards Robert with his Comet Crusher move. Robert was hit to the ground and before he knew it, Kim thumped down his abdomen with his foot. Robert screamed in pain before he knocked out. A critical hit on the abdomen had brought Kim’s victory over Robert. His sons cheered on when they saw the beautiful move that concluded the match. Kim gave a smile and his teeth sparkled with its sparkling whiteness. He had to face Yuri next.
