Welcome to the 21st
century, where the pugilistic world isn’t with sword anymore, instead, these
extreme masters are fighting each other in a “non- violent” way. One of the
most famous pugilist worlds is the King Of Fighters, where each master has his
different sets of combination and own there own self- created combos that would
be hard for normal rookies to learn. Many made their name through these methods;
most of them were males. The vast minority was females, who weren’t important
in this pugilist world. Many of them tried, but could not achieve what some
talents could. They just hid away to challenge within their gender. No female
was seen in regular fights with the males, except one or two. This wasn’t for
long, for a hero for the gals was born…
She sat down, whacking the computer up like as if it was nothing. A huge crowd gathered behind her. She used a combination of unpopular fighters, and had performed so well. The guys awed as she did combo after combo with sheer ease. Some of the guys had challenged her and walked away with shame. All of them knew that she was going to make a name for herself in the future, surely. Suddenly, the crowd seemed to open up a route for someone to walk through. It was Kai, the gangster, known as the King of the Arcade.
She looked at him as he slotted his coin in more a credit to challenge
her. She shrugged and started to choose her usual combination of Vanessa, Ramon,
and Hinako with Seth as the striker. Kai smirked and said, “well lady, you
think you are that good? I have been watching your fighting styles closely. I am
going to beat you flat! How can you steal the limelight from the king?”
Everyone prayed for her, for they felt that she would lose. Kai chose K’,
Chang and Jhun, with Joe as the striker. They were ready to rock.
She kept her cool, her Ramon was
to face Kai’s Chang. When the match started, Kai’s Chang did a Back
(charge) front + C move. She quickly pressed AB (dodge) and dashed
towards Chang! She did a jump D, stand C, diagonal down front + B, qcb +C,
dashed forward again and pressed A, (when close) hcf + B and called Seth. As
Seth kicked Chang, she ran forward and pressed D, qcb +C, at this, Seth hit
Chang up. As Seth had hit Chang up, she jumped and pressed CD to hit Chang far
away! Kai was shocked, she was good! His Chang only had a bit of life left, and
she was still flawless. She pressed jump and CD, but Kai was too fast this time,
his down + C hit Ramon away. He dashed forward and hit diagonal down forward +
A, trying to slide Ramon. She had anticipated it and jumped CD! Chang was
defeated. All started to cheer except Kai. He banged the machine hard in anger
and swore at her. She just smiled and prepared for the next battle.
Kai tried to use Jhun to nail her Ramon, but mistakes after mistakes let her use the same combo over and over again. He had to use his famous K’ to defeat her, with straight wins. Could he do it?
He looked confident with his K’, but she did not care at all. She knew that
her Ramon would lose the round, but she felt confident that she would win the
match with her Vanessa.
When the match started, she immediately pressed back and AB, anticipating that
K’ would use the qcf + A/C move. To her surprise, K’ did his qcb + D move
instead! Ramon was kicked to the end of the screen, and K’ jumped over to do a
CD counter attack. She tried to dodge it by pressing AB, and K’ did two squat
Bs before switching to a qcf + C move and then a Forward + D move. When Ramon
was kicked to the air, K’ did his qcf X2 move! A flawless victory! Everyone
around roared with awe at the “King’s” speed. They felt that she was going
to be a goner, but little did they know…
Her Vanessa dashed about the screen, making the “King” blur. He had slow
reflexes towards such quick characters. Before he knew it, he was hit by her
stand C move. She immediately did a qcb + C and pressed C again. She continued
doing this until the “King’s” was defeated. The “King” looked in
shock. He had lost to a girl! The audience cheered and applauded. “How did you
do that?” The “King” asked. She stood up and walked off. Before she
reached the exit, she turned around and told the “King”:
Mess with the best, die
like the rest
That was what she said, before leaving. All this while, a stout man was watching the match. He smiled as he saw her leave. She was in for trouble…
