Prince
Saturday came very quickly and many people had gathered outside the arcade. The match was to be broadcast on the big screen outside the arcade in the shopping centre. Would Gunmeister come? She was defeated, would she win this time, or lose again? Or, will she even come at all? The match was supposed to have started, but no sign of Gunmeister. Had she forfeited the match?
The
boss sat there impatiently, with is loyal servant “The King” Kai beside him.
Just as they were about to stand and leave, a voice called out. “Can’t you
even wait for a girl?” They turned towards the sound. It was none other than
Gunmeister herself, together with Stardust and Crescent Prince! “Finally, I
thought you were chicken.” The boss sneered. Gunmeister ignored his remark so
cool that The boss could not stand it, “I am going to beat ya’ up like a
pulp!”
“Who cares?”
“What? How dare you!!!”
The match was on!! The boss had his famous Maxima with
him, and also, Lin, Takuma and Seth as striker. “Using your lousy team
again?”
“No, take this!” And she chose Chang, Athena,
Benimaru and Joe as striker!!!
“What the… ?” The boss was stunned. New
characters! She was using characters she never used before! Was she out of her
mind?
“What’s wrong? Chicken already?” Gunmeister
smiled, so did her sister and Crescent Prince.
“Says who? You are gonna die still, no doubt!”
Round 1 Athena VS
Takuma
Gunmeister knew that his Takuma enjoyed fireballs, so
with the handy Psycho Reflector and the other fast moves, she got the boss’s
Takuma easily. Lin was too fast and so she lost the next round. Using Benimaru
was an easy feat, although she had not used him before. But the C and B buttons
are the only buttons she used, and she took out Lin perfect! Stardust and
Crescent Prince looked on with awe.
So, Maxima was out, but still, the Benimaru teasers are too much for him. He could not jump, nor could he dodge. If he had dodged, she would hit Down + B x3 then stand B. If he jumped, it would be jump + B. (Greatest tactic to use against cheap people who really angers you using cheap moves )
After a mistake from her Benimaru, He did a SDM that
whacked her off. He had only ½ life left. Could her Chang do it?
No! In fact she had problems using Chang! She was whacked to ½ life and she hadn’t even touched Maxima! “So, you gave me a fright, I thought you would have defeated me? Now, the victory’s mine!! HAHAHA!!!!!”
“Where is he?” That was the question ringing in her mind. He? Who is he?
“Yo! Sorry, I am late, how is she doing?” He had
arrived!
“Jonathan- san!!! You are that late, my sis is gonna
lose!”
“Fear not, Stardust! Gunnie! Play close attention to
his moves and try to grab him!”
Gunmeister heard the familiar voice and shouted in
rage, “Why are you so late? And to think I am gonna lose and you aren’t
there.”
“Sorry, gal, treat to lunch after you win.”
Gunmeister smiled, “ I know, I WON’T lose this
match.”
Then, she faced the screen with a serious face. Maxima
did a Vapour Cannon move. “Now!” shouted Jonathan. She dodged over and did a
hcb, f + C move then call Joe, and repeated till Maxima was defeated! She won!!!
Everyone cheered, except The boss and Kai. She stood up
to leave and winked at Jonathan. Then, they turned to the boss and Kai.
“Jivin’ it up, Livin’ it down
Mess with the best, Die like the rest!”
