Chapter 2- Flames in Terror
" Hands off! I'm no teddy bear for you to snug and
hug with. So mind out!! " he said and pushed her away.
" I'm sorry. I won't do this again," and she
slowly picked herself up from the ground and went to her table. She held up a photo and watched mildly, but
only saw tears falling from her cheeks, and onto the
photo.
" This is the only memory I can have with you..." she said in a crying tone. She was
depressed and she felt totally useless.
" This ain't good. I shouldn't have been in this
world..." she blamed herself and banged her hands onto the table. Suddenly, a pair of strong hands grabbed
her hands. She turned and looked, and surprisingly
felt comforted only through that grab.
" It ain't your fault. No one can blame for your
existence, so just be yourself." He said warmly with feelings and suddely felt a gush of love through him.
He quickly took his hands off and walked away.
When he turned again to look at her, he was
shocked by what he saw.
Black and white flames totally
engulfed her. Her hands of real flames had swallowed her up. She was
on fire, as if she was in burning hell. That flame had felt familiar, and he dashed
forward to save her.
" Yagami-san, dasukete!!!" she screamed at the top
of her voice and she was in horror pain.
" Orochi..." he said and threw his flames at her.
His flames circulated her flames and tried to calm it
off. But the "Orochi" flame wriggled through his flames and charged for him. All was too fast, faster
than him so he had no chance of escaping.
" Iya!!!!!!!!" she screamed and miraculously the
flames were drawn back to her body and they were
slowly putting out themselves. Then she fell to the ground with smoke all over her.
It all happened too fast. He was unable to get the
full scenario when all he saw was her fainting on the
ground. He dashed forth and held her up. Her parents charged in.
" What happened? " they asked and he carried her
up and only left the words, " None of your business!!"
and he left with her. Her parents were too freaked by the explosion of flames and the fiery of him that they
could not instantly react and only to let him take their daughter away.
He tied her to him and sped off in his Harley. He looked at her, that sweet and innocent-looking face
had disguised a horrifying power behind it. It was too much for him to believe.
They reached his house and he carried her up his
room and investigate her all over.
" It is impossible. She isn't connected to Orochi
in anyway... what actually happened??" and he
questioned himself over and over again.
Then she woke up and spoke, " Koko..."
He started to smoke again and thought hard in his
thoughts. Then suddenly, he felt a gush of wind, a
wind that seemed too cold and warm at the same time in the midst of summer.
He turned immediately towards the window and was
surprised by two awfully familiar shadows. Even she
was surprised.
" Ishashimuni, Iori Yagami." The two shadows
spoke.
" You??!! K', Kula..."
