“Orochi?” a pretty girl with shoulder length brown hair said to a
silver-haired guy beside her. “Yes?”
Orochi asked (note: in this story, Orochi is more like a normal human being).
“I’m glad you gave up the thought of destroying the world…” Whip
sighed. “It was my decision, Whip,” Orochi answered. Orochi had certainly
turned over a new leaf, discarding all his materialistic thoughts of destroying
the world and learning to live like a normal human being.
It took almost a year for everyone to see that Orochi had turned over a
new leaf, which is after the KOF 2000, Rugal returned to create havoc, but was
destroyed by Orochi, the source of his power. Whip was the one who believed and
put faith in him throughout that time, and Orochi was grateful to her.
Whip,
though, was also afraid that he might be re-indulged in the thoughts of
destroying the world again, but Orochi could read what she was thinking.
“Don’t worry Whip, I mean what I say,” Orochi reassured her. Whip smiled, knowing that the day of peace would once again
shine down on humanity for Orochi had certainly reassured her.

“Uh… where am I?” Kula woke up touching her head. She looked around her.
It wasn’t any room in the N.E.S.T.S base, as she had been everywhere in the
base. The room felt warm, so snapped her fingers and immediately the room was
frozen (like her stage). Besides that, she also added a ‘Freeze Shield’ on
the door, and any human who walked within 10 meters of the door without anti-ice
would be immediately frozen. Feeling better, she walked around the room. A black
book on the table interested her. Kula broke the ice and opened the book. The
name on the front page showed that it belonged to K’. “K’? Then this
is…?” Wasting no more time, she flipped the pages to the last entry.
“6th January 2001- Kula had obviously been seriously injured
from her encounter with Foxy and Diana. I wonder why doesn’t she want to
follow them? Is it that she is planning to betray N.E.S.T,S? Impossible. She
wouldn’t. But why does she walk with me, betrayer of her own cartel? Or maybe
there are planning something? Ahh! This is too much for me!
What I know is I can’t let Kula die or be harmed! I don’t know why…
I think it’s already a part of me… is it… is it love?”
Kula was astounded by the writings of K’, they seemed foreign, as K’
was always a silent, cold person. She thought about his writings when she heard
something being frozen outside.
“Someone’s outside!” she said, as she drove her powers and opened
the door. It was K’ outside and he was already fully frozen. “Oh darn! I
guess I activated a stronger version of the shield!” Kula cursed. She broke
the ice using one of the anti-ices she carried in her pocket. “That was
cold!” K’ mumbled. “I’m sorry K’,” Kula apologised. “It’s OK,
and what the hell happened here? It’s freezing!” K’ shouted when he
entered his room. “Em… it was warm, so I decided to freeze it a little…”
K’s attention was then diverted to his diary, opened on his bed. Kula was
stunned. “S… Sorry,” she said, and ran out of the room, and out of the
house. She dropped something in her hurry- an anti-ice…

Down the streets of Southtown, a teenage boy with long blue hair tied
into a ponytail is looking towards the sky. He looks mysterious and strange,
almost alien. The air around him is also mysteriously cold, and one sharp glare
of his eye can paralyse you. Slowly,
the first snowflake falls and lands on his shirt. “Humph,” he smirked and
brushed the snowflake off. He diverted his gaze at his hands, and mysteriously,
cold, blue fire appears from the tip of his finger. Smirking again, he
extinguished the flame and put his hand into his pocket as the snow starts to
fall…

“Hey, it’s snowing!” Whip exclaimed as she reached the town of
Southtown. “Yes, it shouldn’t be snowing,” Orochi agreed with her. “I feel something really bad happening,” Whip said.

Meanwhile,
at the N.E.S.T.S Cartel…
“Diana, we have detected another ice user, though we can’t determine his profile,” Foxy said. “Humph, ice user, you say? Well, what are his battle abilities? I’m sure you can detect it easily. Besides, we could use him for a purpose…” Diana said sarcastically. Foxy was mad, but she did what Diana told her to do. After all, a fight in the cartel isn’t a very good option. “His fighting abilities are 8,796 points, still slightly weak compared to Kula’s 10,000 and K’s 9, 320,” Foxy said. “We still have use for him. Candy! Summon Jinn and Hyun, tell them I have a very important assignment for them!” Diana commanded. Candy obediently went. “What plans do you have in mind, Diana?” Foxy questioned. “You will later know…” Diana replied.
